Ingredients
1cupFull Cream Milk
½cupMilk Powder
½cupHeavy whipping Cream Chilled
½cupPowdered SugarIcing sugar for better results
2tbspCondensed Milk / Milkmaid
3tbspThandai Syrup
1tbspThandai Masala
½tspIce cream essenceOptional
2 tbsp Almonds & PistachiosGarnish
Instructions
Add chilled heavy whipping cream to a chilled bowl.
With an electric or hand beater, whip the cream until soft peaks.
Add milk, milk powder, powdered sugar, condensed milk or milkmaid, Thandai masala, Thandai syrup, and ice cream essence.
Mix all the ingredients well.
Pour this mixture into an airtight container. Cover with a cling flame and freeze for 2 to 3 hours.
Take out the ice cream container after 2 to 3 hours. Pour the ice cream into a bowl.
With an electric or hand beater, beat the mixture until all the ice crystals break down.
Pour this mixture into an airtight container. Garnish with almonds and pistachios.
Cover with a cling flame and freeze for 4 to 5 hours or overnight.
The ice cream should be ready. Take it out, scoop it, and put it in a serving bowl.
Garnish with almonds, pistachios and serve. Enjoy the ice cream.
Notes
Ensure both the bowl and the cream are chilled well.
Set the freezer temperature to the highest, and later place the ice cream to freeze.
The whipping cream used in this recipe is without sugar.
Fresh cream also works well for this recipe.
Cream with a fat content of 34% or above gives good texture and creaminess to the ice cream.
Full-fat or Full cream milk gives the best results. Amul Gold extra cream or Amul gold. Both work for this recipe. Suggest you use the Amul gold tetra packet and not the one you get in the milk bag.
