Further, Baked Beans are rich in Fiber and Protein. It is a perfect choice of recipe that can be prepared for breakfast – baked beans on toast or a light meal for lunch or dinner.

There are a few times you want to cook something quick, yet the recipe has to be tasty for a good meal. And since everyone is working from home. I thought, why not share something made in just 10 minutes, a perfect work-from-home quick food recipe?

That is when the classic baked beans came to my mind. Moreover, the goal was to do something quickly, so here we are using canned baked beans from Heinz. The reason to choose Heinz is that their product is rich in flavor and has a thick semi-dry tomato sauce which acts as a perfect base for our recipe.

I wanted to add my twist to this classic recipe. Because we are a blog sharing Indian Vegetarian Recipes, I thought to spice up the beans to give them an Indian touch. It is like adding the “desi tadka” to the recipe. I could have made Homemade baked beans, but the ready-made beans were simple and quick. Let me know in the comments if you want me to share a Homemade baked beans recipe from scratch.
