  • 1 cup Moong Dal

  • 1 tbsp Green Chili Paste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
  • Fresh Coriander

  • Take 1 cup of moong dal and soak it for 30 minutes.
  • Cook the dal and remove the foam from the dal. Each grain should be separate from each other and not mushy.
  • Strain the dal and keep it aside.
  • Add 1 tbsp of oil to a pan and let the oil heat. Add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, ¼ tsp of asafoetida, 1 tbsp of green chili paste, and 1 tbsp of ginger paste. Saute for a few seconds.
  • Add the cooked dal, ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, ¾ tbsp of coriander powder, ½ tbsp of red chili powder, ¼ tsp of mango powder, and salt as per taste. Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Add ¼ tsp of garam masala and some fresh coriander leaves. Mix all the ingredients well.
  • Cook for a minute. Keep it aside and cool the mixture.
  • Add 3½ cups of wheat flour to a pan, salt as per taste, and mix all the ingredients well.
