- 3½ cups Wheat Flour
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- ¼ tsp Asafoetida
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- ¾ tbsp Coriander Powder
- ½ tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- ¼ tsp Mango Powder
- ¼ tsp Garam Masala
- Salt as per taste
- 1 tbsp + tsp Oil (तेल)
- 1 tbsp Green Chili Paste
- 1 tbsp Ginger Paste
- Fresh Coriander

- Take 1 cup of moong dal and soak it for 30 minutes.
- Cook the dal and remove the foam from the dal. Each grain should be separate from each other and not mushy.
- Strain the dal and keep it aside.
- Add 1 tbsp of oil to a pan and let the oil heat. Add 1 tsp of cumin seeds, ¼ tsp of asafoetida, 1 tbsp of green chili paste, and 1 tbsp of ginger paste. Saute for a few seconds.
- Add the cooked dal, ¼ tsp of turmeric powder, ¾ tbsp of coriander powder, ½ tbsp of red chili powder, ¼ tsp of mango powder, and salt as per taste. Mix all the ingredients well.
- Add ¼ tsp of garam masala and some fresh coriander leaves. Mix all the ingredients well.
- Cook for a minute. Keep it aside and cool the mixture.
