Farali Pattice is also an ideal tea-time snack The steps to make this pattice is divided into two steps. First, the stuffing is made, where the main ingredient is the coconut. In addition to coconut, have added roasted peanuts, cashew nuts, raisins, green chili, ginger paste, fresh coriander, and sugar.

Secondly, a mixture of mashed potato with rock salt, and arrowroot is prepared. The potato mixture is flattened, coconut stuffing is added in the middle and all the sides or edges of the potato are brought together in the center and sealed giving a round shape. The farali pattice is then rolled in arrowroot and fried on a medium flame till they turn golden in color.

These pattices go well with green chutney. The arrowroot powder is allowed to consume during fasting. Cornflour can be used if you are not preparing this for fasting.
