Easy and Special Pista Barfi Recipe(Updated)
Ingredients
- 250 grams Pistachios
- 110 grams Sugar
- 2 tbsp Milk Powder
- ½ tsp Cardamom powder
- pinch Nutmeg
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- ½ cup Water
- 1 to 2 drops Green Color
- few leaflets Silver Leaf
Instructions
- Grind 250 grams of pistachios in a grinder in parts on the pulse mode.
- Ground pistachios, smooth texture.
- Add 2 tbsp of milk powder, ½ tsp of cardamom, and a pinch of nutmeg.
- With the help of a spoon, mix all the ingredients until well combined.
- Add 1 to 2 drops of green color, and keep it aside.
- Add ½ cup of water and 110 grams of sugar in a pan. Stir well till sugar dissolves in the water.
- Boil till one string of consistency sugar syrup is formed.
- One string of consistency sugar syrup.
- Switch off the gas flame immediately. Add the prepared ground pistachios mixture to the sugar syrup.
- Mix all the ingredients well.
- Add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix it well.
- Barfi is ready if you can form a ball of the mixture.
- Transfer the barfi to a greased tray and spread it evenly across the tray with the help of a spatula.
- Cool the barfi for 15 to 20 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, apply slight water over the barfi with your hand.
- Apply edible silver leaves sheets.
- Dab the silver leaf with the cotton to set it properly over the barfi.
- Cut them in the desired shape.
- Delicious pista barfi is ready to serve.
