  • 250 grams Pistachios
  • 110 grams Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Milk Powder
  • ½ tsp Cardamom powder

  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 to 2 drops Green Color

Instructions

  • Grind 250 grams of pistachios in a grinder in parts on the pulse mode.
  • Ground pistachios, smooth texture.
  • Add 2 tbsp of milk powder, ½ tsp of cardamom, and a pinch of nutmeg.
  • With the help of a spoon, mix all the ingredients until well combined.
  • Add 1 to 2 drops of green color, and keep it aside.
  • Add ½ cup of water and 110 grams of sugar in a pan. Stir well till sugar dissolves in the water.
  • Boil till one string of consistency sugar syrup is formed.

  • Switch off the gas flame immediately. Add the prepared ground pistachios mixture to the sugar syrup.

  • Add 1 tbsp of ghee and mix it well.

  • After 15 minutes, apply slight water over the barfi with your hand.
